Nguyễn Anh Tuấn – Director

(Master of Business Administration)

Mr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn is the Founder of The House of Wisdom (Ngôi Nhà Trí Tuệ) and Co-founder of Compassion Books (Tủ Sách Nhân Ái). These two initiatives were born from his aspiration and vision for a Vietnam guided by Wisdom and Compassion, and they have since become the lifelong mission he pursues with unwavering dedication.He graduated as a Civil and Bridge Engineer from the University of Transport and Communications and earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration through a joint program between Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium).Mr. Tuấn has 17 years of experience in the field of construction, including 10 years as a founding shareholder and CEO of a professional construction consulting firm. In 2016, driven by a profound sense of purpose and destiny, he decided to shift his career path—gradually reducing his business management role to devote more time to community development, particularly in culture and education. Alongside like-minded friends, he founded the Compassion Books Program in 2016 and The House of Wisdom in 2018.Since July 2019, he has completely stepped away from all corporate executive positions to focus on the Compassion Books Social Enterprise, where he serves as Chairman while directly managing the House of Wisdom network both in Vietnam and abroad.His journey has inspired and united thousands of individuals and organizations, at home and overseas, to realize the shared vision of Wisdom and Compassion—for a better world.

Trương Nguyện Thành – Deputy Director

(Professor – Doctor of Science)

Professor Trương Nguyện Thành holds a Doctor of Science degree in Chemistry and Computation and has over 30 years of teaching and research experience at the University of Utah (USA). He was conferred the title of Full Professor at the age of 41.Throughout his research career, Professor Thành has published over 200 international scientific papers and holds two US/International patents in computer science. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he was honored as one of America’s most promising young scientists in 1993.In 2005, he was invited to Vietnam to participate in establishing the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Computational Science and Technology, where he served as Director from November 2007 to June 2017. From 2017 to 2018, he was Acting Vice President of Hoa Sen University, and later served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Van Lang University (2019–2020).During this time, he initiated and implemented various higher education reform programs emphasizing self-directed learning, critical thinking, and lifelong learning for students.

Tống Liên Anh – Deputy Director

(Master of Education, Monash University, Australia)

Ms. Tống Liên Anh is an expert in adult education and lifelong learning. She graduated with distinction from the Master of Education program at Monash University under a full scholarship from the Australian Government.During her 10-year tenure at the Ministry of Education and Training, she was in charge of projects and programs promoting lifelong learning and building a learning society in Vietnam.She has also served as an expert and advisor for numerous international and regional organizations and projects, including UNESCO, DVV International, SEAMEO CELLL, and is a member of PIMA (the PASCAL International Members Association)—a global network of experts and scholars in adult and lifelong learning.Ms. Liên Anh has contributed to helping several Vietnamese reading promotion organizations win prestigious international awards, such as the UNESCO Literacy Prize and the Library of Congress Literacy Award (USA). She also advises local authorities, Departments of Education and Training, and relevant organizations in preparing applications to join the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, as well as in implementing lifelong learning policies and programs.For her contributions, Ms. Liên Anh has twice been awarded UNESCO Fellowships for the Promotion of Lifelong Learning (CONFINTEA VI Fellowship 2016, Policy Scholarship 2020).

Nguyễn Vân Anh – Deputy Director

(Master of Applied Economics, Auburn University, USA)

Ms. Nguyễn Thị Vân Anh is a specialist in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, currently living and working in Malaysia.She graduated from the Foreign Trade University (majoring in International Economics and Business Japanese), conducted research at Tokyo Gagukei University (Japan), and earned a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Auburn University (USA).She formerly served as Head of Business Development, in charge of the Japanese market at FPT Software. She is currently a consultant for the international research organization CGIAR, collaborating with centers such as WorldFish, IRRI, and IFPRI.Her expertise includes agricultural value chain analysis, gender mainstreaming in rural development, and field research experience across several Asian countries (Malaysia, Japan, Myanmar) and African nations (Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria).With 17 years of study, work, and life abroad, Ms. Vân Anh has guided and supported many Vietnamese students in earning prestigious scholarships at leading global universities, especially in the United States. Since 2021, she has served as Advisor for The House of Wisdom Penang – Malaysia, helping connect international experts and organize educational exchanges, international summer camps, and personal development programs for youth.

Nguyễn Quốc Huy – Deputy Director

(Master of Project Management)

Mr. Nguyễn Quốc Huy is the Executive Director of the Compassion Books Program and a professional consultant in civil construction.He has served as lead designer, co-project director, and project manager for numerous major transportation projects in Southern Vietnam funded by ADB, WB, and JICA—covering highways, expressways, bridges (including Can Tho Bridge), urban upgrading, and new urban areas.From 2013 to 2024, he was Deputy General Director of Hoa Binh Intelligence Consulting Company. Since January 2025, he has been Director of UniteCons Construction Investment Joint Stock Company.His extensive experience in senior management roles domestically and internationally enables him to lead the Compassion Books Social Enterprise toward sustainability and impactful growth.With credibility, enthusiasm, and a broad professional network, he has mobilized numerous enterprises and communities to jointly expand The House of Wisdom and Compassion Books across the nation.

LÊ THỊ ANH THƯ

(Ph.D. in Marketing Management, University of Oregon, USA)

Dr. Thư is a marketing expert who has contributed to the successful brand building of corporations, enterprises, and startups (from 2005 to present). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology; a Master of International Business (MIB) and a Master of Digital Marketing, both from La Trobe University (Australia); and a Ph.D. in Marketing Management from the University of Oregon (USA). Dr. Thư has collaborated on diverse research topics, including consumer behavior, the impact of retailtainment on brand-building success, and academic studies on co-creation in the value chain. She previously served as Director of the Center for Continuing Education at Hoa Sen University and as Marketing Director of Real-time Robotics (USA – Vietnam). She is currently with the International School of Business (ISB), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. Dr. Thư oversees the organization’s external relations and leads international collaboration initiatives. She plays a key role in coordinating international programs and projects. With her extensive experience and excellent communication skills, Dr. Thư has helped the organization expand its influence beyond national borders.

NGUYỄN THỦY CHI

(Ph.D. in Human Resource Management, National Economics University)

Dr. Chi is a seasoned expert in education (from 1986 to present). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Information Processing from Moscow Institute of Statistics and Economics; an MBA from Boise State University (USA); a Master’s degree from Macquarie University (Australia); and a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from the National Economics University (Vietnam). Dr. Chi has authored numerous scholarly works on education. She previously served as Head of the Marketing and Development Cooperation Department and as Deputy Director of the International Education Institute at the National Economics University (Hanoi). Dr. Chi is responsible for overseeing academic matters and ensuring the quality of literacy and lifelong learning programs and activities. Her expertise and dedication play a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission to provide meaningful educational opportunities for the community.

TRẦN THANH HOÀI

(Education Specialist)

Mr. Hoài is currently the Deputy General Director of the social enterprise Tủ Sách Nhân Ái – Compassion Books. Originally a literature teacher who later transitioned into publishing and book distribution, he founded and managed Hiệu sách Khuyến học (2016–2018). He is also a co-founder of SACA Vietnam Joint Stock Company, which operates the Café Sách Đông Tây chain in five provinces and cities. Since 2016, Mr. Hoài has primarily worked in educational promotion and reading culture development. He is the technical lead at Compassion Books, responsible for organizing training and workshops for schools and local communities. With nearly ten years of experience in education, he has also authored numerous articles on reading and lifelong learning in Vietnam.

CHÂU THIÊN TRÚC QUỲNH

(Master of Applied Business Administration, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City)

Ms. Quỳnh is a finance professional, currently serving as Managing Director of the Domestic Brokerage Division at Viet Capital Securities Joint Stock Company. Having worked in the financial and securities markets since 2001, she has extensive experience in mobilizing, managing, and tracking donations and fundraising efforts for the organization. Through her commitment to fostering partnerships and mobilizing resources, Ms. Quỳnh has made significant contributions to securing vital support for the organization’s long-term development and success.

NGÔ DIỆU THÚY

(Master of Literature, Vinh University)

Ms. Thúy is an education specialist. From 2004 to 2014, she worked as a high school literature teacher, concurrently serving as union officer, homeroom teacher, and school council secretary. She currently manages a Books & Café chain in Vinh City under SACA Vietnam Joint Stock Company. Ms. Thúy actively participates in numerous charitable and educational initiatives. She is the founder and operator of the Free Bookshelf project serving the community, and the leader of the Nghi Đức Volunteer Tutoring Group. In addition, she works as a counselor and life skills instructor at the Learning & Experience Club. Ms. Thúy plays a vital role in connecting the organization with schools and local authorities through various activities. With her experience and expertise, she has helped strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders, furthering our mission and promoting positive change in the community.

PHAN ĐĂNG CHƯƠNG 

(Mechanical Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education)

Mr. Chương is a Mechanical Engineer and currently the CEO of Vietnam Gloves Company. He has served as General Director of several domestic companies in the fields of construction materials, automotive mechanics, and import–export. With years of managerial experience, he has supported and sponsored the development of management processes for Tủ Sách Nhân Ái – Compassion Books and Ngôi Nhà Trí Tuệ – The House of Wisdom from the outset. He has also funded STEM training and workshops for students in Ho Chi Minh City and Nghệ An. Mr. Chương currently manages relationships with business partners and local authorities to support the organization’s growth and success.
