Scholarships and books awarded to students at Dak A Primary School.

The delegation visited Dak A Primary School and Bu Gia Map Primary School, where teachers and students of Dong Hoa B Primary School contributed 2,000 notebooks and 200 scholarships worth a total of VND 30.5 million. In addition, the Compassionate Bookshelf program donated 12 boxes of books, 1,000 notebooks, and 50 UV-protection hats, with a combined value of more than VND 73 million.

The donated books cover a wide range of genres, including biographies, science, literature, history, geography, life skills, English, and bilingual editions, catering to different student age groups.

Since 2017, the Compassionate Bookshelf program has organized six donation drives, providing hundreds of bookshelves to schools across Binh Phuoc Province. With support from sponsors and philanthropists, the program has reached many border areas. Bu Gia Map, one of the province’s most disadvantaged communes, still faces limited access to diverse reading materials. The new bookshelves are expected to enrich school libraries and create valuable learning spaces for students.
